The support in recent days and weeks from some of the world’s biggest sporting stars has been mind-blowing. To see Will’s beaming smile on national news, in print media and on Twitter has been as inspiring as it has been emotional.
The passion with which Eddie McGuire and Luke Darcy described Will’s battle on Triple M on Tuesday morning reminded us all that behind the flurry of microphones and cameras, two of Australia’s most well-known broadcasters are nothing more than proud fathers, loving husbands and great family men. I haven’t met Eddie nor Luke, but I suspect they would want to be known as nothing more.
If you are reading this now, you most likely haven’t just won a Super Bowl or signed an NBA contract, and probably will never have your own breakfast radio show.
But right now we all have the power to shake Will Murray’s world.
I implore you not only to share, like, link and comment – but more importantly pledge. Indeed our time has arrived to genuinely make a difference in the lives of a family that so many hold dear.
In your own gentle way, shake Will Murray’s world.
